Team Purdy led by fearless leader and Realtor Bridget Malagisi, was out in full force for Hero Rush 2012 held at Ellms Farm on September 8, 2012 in Charlton. The team came in 3rd overall with two of the teams females coming in 1st and 3rd.
Hero Rush is a proud supporter of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, our national charity. The Foundation offers significant support programs for the families and fire departments of America’s fallen firefighters, and also works proactively to prevent line-of-duty deaths.
Hero Rush gives you the chance to put your mettle to the test. Team Purdy ran an intense 5k+ race with multiple fire-related obstacles. Climbed ladders and slid down poles, crawled through windows and had to break down doors, scramble through HAZMAT slime and locate trapped victims they even had fire hoses turned on them!
