This is despite the fact that the process of selling my mother's nearly 100-year-old house, from three states away, in the winter, and then during the coronavirus pandemic was difficult and often discouraging. Without Laura Conrad's able assistance, it wouldn't even have been possible. She talked me through when I would have given up at several points, as the list of problems with the old house and needed (expensive) repairs grew and grew. One thing that was especially stressful for me was cold calling local services to try to get estimates at a time when many people weren't working due to the virus.
