This is despite the fact that the process of selling my mother's nearly 100-year-old house, from three states away, in the winter, and then during the coronavirus pandemic was difficult and often discouraging. One thing that was especially stressful for me was cold calling local services to try to get estimates at a time when many people weren't working due to the virus.
